As Ty Dolla $ign gears up for the release of his collaborative album “Vultures” with Kanye West, the Los Angeles-born singer has added a significant piece to his ink collection.
Taking to Instagram, Ty Dolla $ign shared a close-up image of his new “¥$” tattoo, positioned above his right ear and below his hairline, in a nod to the highly anticipated project.
The symbol combination, “¥$,” has become recognizable to fans of both Ty Dolla $ign and Kanye West, as it is reported to be the moniker under which the duo will release their joint album, “Vultures.”
Originally slated for a mid-October release, the album faced delays, moving its drop date to December 15 and then again to December 31 after a series of listening parties.
However, a spokesperson for Kanye confirmed to Billboard that the release is now set for early 2024, specifically on January 12.
The journey to “Vultures” has been marked by controversy, not only due to its postponements but also because of Kanye West’s provocative lyrics on the title track. In the song, he stirred controversy with the line, “How am I antisemitic? I just [expletive] a Jewish [expletive].”

This lyric sparked outrage, referencing Ye’s previous anti-Semitic remarks, including criticism of the “Jewish underground media mafia” and expressions of admiration for Adolf Hitler.
Kanye reiterated similar sentiments during a Vultures promotional event, claiming that Zionists were in control of schools and hospitals.
In response to the backlash, Kanye West issued an apology on December 26, posted in Hebrew on Instagram. He expressed remorse for any unintended harm caused by his words and actions, emphasizing that he did not intend to hurt or disrespect the Jewish community. Kanye pledged to learn from the experience, promote unity, and seek forgiveness from those he may have affected, committing to greater sensitivity in the future.
