A recent altercation involving rapper Jim Jones at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport has stirred controversy, with hip-hop figure Wack 100 accusing Jones of cooperating with the police.
The incident, which occurred over the weekend, saw Jones engaged in a physical confrontation with two individuals at the airport. Video footage captured the altercation, showing the three individuals involved in a scuffle on an escalator before being separated by Broward County Sherriff’s Office deputies.
Following the incident, Jones was seen speaking with one of the officers and asserting that he had acted in self-defense: “It’s two of them against me.” However, Wack 100 took to Instagram to criticize Jones, labeling him a “snitch” for his interaction with law enforcement.
In a now-deleted post, Wack 100 shared footage of the altercation and accused Jones of “ratting,” emphasizing that individuals should refrain from providing verbal statements to law enforcement. While some individuals supported Wack 100’s stance, others, including rapper Lil Scrappy, defended Jones in the comments section.
Jones took to Instagram to reassure his followers of his well-being, stating, “To all my family I am good love yal way to many calls n text to reply to God is good.” He further emphasized that he was unharmed and intended to carry on with his plans for the evening.
Later, in a separate post, Jones shifted the focus away from the altercation and encouraged his followers to join him at a party he was hosting at Taboo nightclub in Miami.
“And the show must go on, ya heard. Taboo, tonight, you know where I’m at. Yeah, fuck all that other shit. Pull up on me. We gon’ have a celebration. Life is life,” Jones said.
