The planned strike by chorus singers at the Welsh National Opera (WNO) has been paused, according to the union Equity.
Chorus members, who had previously voted in favor of industrial action, will not strike on Friday, October 11, as originally proposed.
Instead, the chorus will stage a protest ahead of their performance at Venue Cymru in Llandudno.
Members will wear t-shirts with protest slogans and hand out leaflets to audience members, raising awareness about their ongoing dispute with the company.
The conflict stems from proposed changes to working conditions, which prompted 93% of the 30-member chorus to vote in favor of industrial action in September.
The strike pause allows for further dialogue, but protests will continue as chorus members voice their concerns.
