Zendaya turned heads at The Gothams 34th Annual Film Awards on Dec. 2 in a sleek, minimalist white halter gown that perfectly showcased her timeless elegance.
The “Euphoria” actress completed the ensemble with a sleek ponytail, subtle smoky eye makeup, and a nude lip, highlighting her natural beauty.
The 28-year-old actress wasn’t just there for the fashion—she also took home the prestigious 2024 Spotlight Tribute Award for her captivating performance as Tashi Donaldson in Challengers.
The Gotham Film and Media Institute recognized Zendaya’s outstanding contribution to film, with executive director Jeffrey Sharp praising her as “one of the most captivating actors of her generation” for her work in Challengers, Dune: Part One, Dune: Part Two, and Euphoria.
Zendaya has intentionally chosen more mature roles in recent years, such as her character in Challengers, to challenge herself as an actress.
“From a character perspective, I want to find things that will push me,” she said in 2023.
Despite some nervousness about taking on racier roles, Zendaya embraced the challenge.
“It was a little bit scary to take on, which I think is a good feeling,” she shared. “You can either stay safe or take the leap—‘f–k it.’”
Zendaya’s style continues to make waves.
On the Challengers press tour, she impressed with her fashion-forward looks, blending tennis-inspired pieces with high fashion.
At the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, she donned a steamy Bob Mackie gown reminiscent of Cher’s iconic 1972 look, completing the ensemble with pin-straight hair.
Zendaya’s fashion sense extends to matching outfits with her boyfriend Tom Holland.
The couple rocked coordinated burgundy ensembles at the launch of Tom’s non-alcoholic beer, BERO, in October 2024.
When it comes to her style, Zendaya credits her “alter ego” for her fashion prowess.
“She’s a different being that comes into me—my own Sasha Fierce,” she told Vogue, referring to Beyoncé’s iconic alter ego.
“She takes over and does the carpet.”
Just like her acting, Zendaya fully embodies the character she’s portraying, making every red carpet appearance a memorable moment.
