50 Cent, the rapper and media mogul known for his unfiltered opinions, recently shared a memorable piece of advice he received from Dame Dash over two decades ago. During an upcoming episode of Million Dollaz Worth of Game, which has already sparked buzz with teaser clips, 50 Cent reminisced about Dash’s attempt to downplay the significance of his first million-dollar contract.
In the clip, 50 Cent recalled how Dash, once a major player in the music industry, tried to convince him that a million dollars wasn’t much money. “The only person that pointed out a million dollars was no money was Damon Dash, and he has no money now,” 50 Cent quipped, taking a jab at Dash’s current financial situation. “How you gonna say that’s no money?”
Mimicking Dash’s attitude, 50 Cent continued, “After you get you a watch, chain, look out for the homies, and then do this, then it’s nothing.” But from 50’s perspective, the advice didn’t resonate. “I’m from 134th Street,” he said. “A million dollars is a lot of money. I think I hit the lotto. How are you gonna say that it’s no money?”
50 Cent’s episode on Million Dollaz Worth of Game has already made waves, with another clip showing him reigniting his long-standing feud with Rick Ross. When asked about his issues with Ross, 50 Cent didn’t hold back, claiming that Ross’s career only thrives when he brings up 50’s name. “Nothing else works for him outside of mentioning me,” 50 Cent remarked. “When things get bad, he mentions me.”
Ross, never one to back down, quickly fired back online, questioning 50 Cent’s loyalty to Dr. Dre during the beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake. “I thought Dr. Dre put you on,” Ross said. “You mean to tell me you went with the Canadian over Dr. Dre who you say changed your life?” Ross added, pointing out how 50 Cent went silent once Drake lost the feud.
