Drake continued his streak of benevolence during his “It’s All A Blur – Big As the What?” tour at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri, on Saturday.
Amidst his electrifying performance, Drizzy paused to interact with the crowd and received a heartfelt note from a fan detailing their situation.
The note, passed from the front rows, revealed the fan’s request: “[Pay] off my mom’s house, rest in peace.” Sensing the gravity of the situation, Drake expressed empathy, acknowledging the loss of the fan’s mother and the financial burden left behind.
“You said, ‘[Pay] off my mom’s house, rest in peace.’ Your mom passed away? Alright. And you owe… Oh, this is the outstanding balance right here,” Drake announced as he read the note aloud. “This is a lot of money right here.”

Undeterred by the substantial amount, Drake made a heartfelt commitment: “But you know what, Imma pay off your momma’s house for you.” He disclosed the outstanding balance to be $160,000 and assured the fan that he would cover the expense personally.
“That’s gonna come from me,” Drake affirmed. “Rest in peace to your momma. Hold on, wait. Rest in peace to Jennifer Schumer. Rest in peace. I love you.”
This act of generosity is not the first time Drake has extended a helping hand to fans in need. Earlier in February, the rapper gifted $50,000 to a cancer survivor.
Prior to that, he promised to pay $100,000 to another fan who had completed a round of chemotherapy treatments.
