Drake humorously appealed to his home country officials on Friday via Instagram, suggesting that the neighboring American city of Buffalo be temporarily designated as a Canadian province for one day.
His lighthearted request aimed to facilitate access for his hometown friends who are unable to travel internationally to attend his upcoming concerts.
Sharing his playful plea alongside a series of tour photos, Drake tagged Canada in his Instagram post, proposing the unconventional idea to make Buffalo a province for a day to accommodate his local fans.
“@canada can we make Buffalo a province for a day so my friends that can’t travel can come see me perform…just this one time,” he wrote with a carousel of photos from his current tour with J. Cole and Lil Durk.
The tour, titled the ‘It’s All A Blur — Big As The What?’ tour, is scheduled to hit Buffalo next week, with consecutive dates set for Tuesday (February 27) and Wednesday (February 28) at the KeyBank Center.
