Kim Kardashian has another whirlwind adventure on her hands with her kids! The reality TV star and Skims mogul, 43, recently shared some exciting news on September 3—her 8-year-old son, Saint West, now has his own YouTube channel! But don’t think for a second that Kim just handed over the reins without laying down some ground rules.
In true Kardashian fashion, Kim made sure Saint knew the seriousness of his new venture by having him sign an “extensive contract” before diving into the world of YouTube. Taking to Instagram Stories, Kim gave fans a peek at the “solid” handwritten agreement, cheekily warning that Saint “better not breach” the contract.
This wasn’t just any old contract; it was a carefully crafted deal, dated September 3, 2024, that Kim herself penned on a lined sheet of notebook paper. It officially established the terms between mother and son, with a few nods to big sister North West, 11.
Saint’s agreement kicks off with a promise: “I, Saint West, agree to follow my mom’s rules in order to have a YouTube channel.” And those rules? Pretty strict. Saint is forbidden from sharing any personal family details, filming anything private, or recording while North is working on her music.
And that’s not all! Saint has to get Kim or another guardian’s approval for every single video before it goes live. If he slips up, any adult designated by Kim has the green light to delete his content for any reason. The contract wraps up with a stern final warning: if Saint doesn’t follow all the rules, Kim could make his page private or even delete the account altogether. Needless to say, Saint made sure to print and sign his name at the bottom—just in case!
This isn’t the first time Kim has caved to her kids’ requests. On a recent episode of The Kardashians, she admitted to sometimes being a “pushover” with her four children—North, Saint, Chicago West, 6, and Psalm West, 5. She confessed on the June 6 episode, “Sometimes, it just gets a little intense. I wanna be more strict like Khloe, but I don’t know why I have a hard time just saying no is no.”
Kim also revealed that her kids have a knack for tugging at her heartstrings, especially when they turn on the waterworks. “They’ll start with the tears,” she shared, and before long, she’s handing over the iPad just to keep the peace. Even when she tries to be strict, like when she recently took away North’s phone, she ended up giving it back the very next day!
