Originally released in 2010, Carey revamped “Oh Santa!” in 2020, featuring Grande and Hudson. The song became part of Carey’s Magical Christmas Special and its accompanying soundtrack.
Having initiated her Christmas shows in 2014 with mini-residencies at New York’s Beacon Theatre, Carey expanded her holiday performances to Las Vegas, Europe, and North America over the years. After a brief hiatus due to the pandemic, she resumed her festive live shows, focusing on New York and Toronto last winter.
Currently underway, Carey’s “Merry Christmas One and All!” tour will make stops in Boston, Philadelphia, and Baltimore next week before concluding with a grand finale at Madison Square Garden on December 17.
The unexpected collaboration with Grande and Hudson added an extra layer of joy to an already magical holiday season for fans in attendance.
