Megan Thee Stallion lit up Los Angeles during the latest stop of her inaugural headlining Hot Girl Summer Tour, just days after Kendrick Lamar’s monumental Pop Out: Ken & Friends event in Inglewood.
Taking center stage at the Crypto.com Arena in LA, Meg paid homage to Kendrick Lamar by featuring his chart-topping single “Not Like Us” during her performance.
The Mustard-produced anthem of the West Coast played between sets, prompting Meg to energetically rap and twerk along with the crowd.
Videos from the event captured Meg’s alliance with Kendrick in his ongoing feud against Drake.

However, Meg isn’t merely a bystander in this conflict; she’s been recognized for catalyzing the current hostility towards Drake within hip-hop circles.
Initially on good terms, tensions between Meg and Drake escalated in 2022 after Drake allegedly disparaged her multiple times following her shooting incident involving Tory Lanez.
Drake’s remarks, including lyrics from “Circo Loco,” which seemingly mocked Meg’s injury, ignited public backlash. Meg responded on social media, calling out artists who supported Tory Lanez.
In her 2024 track “Hiss,” Meg directly addressed the situation, with lyrics interpreted as shots at Drake. According to Genius, she raps about “fake-ass accents” and indirectly criticizes Drake’s perceived insincerity.
This lyrical exchange prompted widespread industry responses, such as Metro Boomin’s “BBL Drizzy” and Kendrick’s lyrical skirmishes involving the same themes.
Although Meg and Kendrick haven’t collaborated musically yet, Kendrick acknowledged her talent in his 2021 track “Family Ties” with Baby Keem, celebrating Meg’s ability to captivate audiences.
With her album “Megan” set to drop on June 28, Meg teased fans with a tracklist revealing collaborations with UGK, Victoria Monet, and others, promising a fresh chapter in her musical journey.
