Rihanna is celebrating her partner A$AP Rocky’s undeniable impact on the fashion world.
The “Needed Me” singer proudly praised the rapper—father to their sons RZA, 2, and Riot, 16 months—during the 38th Annual Footwear News Achievement Awards on December 4, where A$AP was honored for his Puma sneaker collaboration.
“He’s always influenced the fashion game,” Rihanna shared with reporters.
“He’s always had a unique sense of style that designers have honed in on and used as inspiration for collections. But I feel like he’s never gotten the amount of credit that he deserves.”
Rihanna, 36, expressed her pride in seeing A$AP achieve recognition, adding, “It feels great to see him achieve something that we always knew he was a part of and influenced. I’m proud to be here by his side. It’s a big deal.”
Playfully reflecting on the occasion, Rihanna quipped, “I left my kids to be here. I’m super proud of their dad. That’s my baby daddy.”
The couple, who made their relationship public in December 2020, recently turned heads with a rare red-carpet appearance at the 2024 Fashion Awards.
However, their holiday plans prioritize family time with their little ones.
“We’re still figuring out where that’s gonna be,” Rihanna said of their holiday destination.
“Whether that’s East Coast, West Coast, Barbados—we don’t know. But we know we’re gonna be together.”
