Saoirse Ronan is embracing the holiday season with her husband of four months, Jack Lowden, and showcasing one of her favorite talents: gift-giving.
“I’m an excellent gift giver,” the Lady Bird actress shared on the red carpet at The Gothams Film Awards on Dec. 2.
“I enjoy the act of giving a gift.”
While she admits that gift-giving isn’t her only love language, she cherishes showing love in that way.
As for Jack’s holiday wish list? Saoirse revealed her husband’s quirky obsession with yule logs, joking, “It’ll be like, ‘OK, let’s go out and get you a log.’”
The couple, who married in a private ceremony in July, first met on the set of Mary Queen of Scots in 2018 and have since collaborated on The Outrun, which Saoirse starred in and Jack co-produced.
Their strong partnership, both personally and professionally, reflects their complementary personalities.
“Jack is a lot calmer than I am. He’s my voice of reason,” Saoirse shared.
Looking ahead, Saoirse hopes they’ll act together again, potentially on stage.
“Jack didn’t want to for a long time,” she said, “but I’ve now convinced him it’s a great idea.”
For Saoirse, the holidays promise to be a perfect blend of love, laughter, and perhaps a few yule logs.
