Britney Spears announced that several valuable items from her home have been stolen.
The “Woman In Me” author took to social media on Sunday night to share her distress.
“You guys, for real, all my jewelry was stolen,” Spears said in the video.
“See? There’s nothing. Well, there’s a Mother Mary. I’m scared. It’s all gone. All my jewelry is gone.”
Spears posted a caption expressing her reluctance to replace the stolen items due to fear of further theft.
“So you can see for real, all my jewelry was stolen … it’s hard to buy new now, because I’m scared it will go missing,” she wrote. “So I buy it cheap and fake, but it’s hard because some of my pieces were originally made for me … and my baby cross that I wore since I was 4 is gone … it’s so thin.”
Despite the alarming claims, a representative from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office told Page Six that no theft had been reported from Spears’ Thousand Oaks, California residence.
This isn’t the first time Spears has reported a theft at this mansion.
She previously reported a similar incident in 2021. Spears, who had her conservatorship ended in April, now has full control over her finances, no longer overseen by her father, James “Jamie” Spears, and attorney Andrew M. Wallet.
