Gary Barlow has been confirmed as a headline performer for the Forest Live concert series next summer, with a show scheduled for June 21 at High Lodge near Thetford.
Organized by Forestry England, the annual series brings live music to woodland venues across the UK.
Barlow, known for his success with Take That and as a solo artist, will also perform a homecoming gig at Delamere Forest in Cheshire on June 4 as part of his solo Songbook Tour.
With 24 top-10 hits and 13 UK number ones, he has also written and produced music for artists like Dame Shirley Bassey, Sir Elton John, and Robbie Williams.
Thetford’s summer lineup also includes Rag’n’Bone Man, James (supported by Shed Seven), and The Script, with additional acts to be announced.
Proceeds from Forest Live concerts support Forestry England’s efforts to maintain 1,500 woods and forests, plant trees, and advance conservation.
Rhodri Jones, Forestry England’s national events manager, emphasized the series’ impact, stating, “Forest Live raises vital funds to preserve and maintain these natural areas for everyone to enjoy.”
In 2023, Forestry England planted 7.4 million trees, with over two million attendees enjoying Forest Live concerts since the initiative began 23 years ago.
Tickets for Gary Barlow’s High Lodge performance will go on sale on November 29.
