Johnny Manziel and Josie Canseco gave fans a glimpse into their intimate relationship while celebrating the former NFL quarterback’s 32nd birthday on December 6.
In a sultry Instagram Story video, the couple was seen sitting in a bathtub together, with Johnny lovingly washing Josie’s hair.
“A love like you,” Josie captioned the video with a heart emoji.
“My best friend and my forever. I’m so proud of the man you’ve grown into.”
She continued her heartfelt message, writing, “You are the kindest heart I’ve ever met. How’d I get so lucky ++ happy birthday my baby @imanziel2.”
Josie, 28, daughter of former MLB star Jose Canseco and Jessica Canseco, confirmed her relationship with Johnny in April when they attended Stagecoach 2024 together.
Since then, she has been open about how much she cherishes their connection.
“He’s a sweet Texas boy,” she shared with Us Weekly in July.
“He is close with his family and his mom and his sister and her little ones. I just went to Texas to meet them recently. Everyone was so sweet and welcoming, and to see that he has such an amazing family made me feel so comfortable.”
Having been previously linked to Brody Jenner and G-Eazy, Josie expressed her desire to balance privacy and openness in her relationship with Johnny, who was married to Selling Sunset star Bre Tiesi from 2018 to 2021.
“I also think there’s a lot of beauty in keeping my relationship personal and between us,” she explained.
“I have nothing to hide, but at the same time, I think it’s going to be healthy for us to grow together… if it’s not all publicized.”
She also couldn’t help but gush over how well Johnny treats her.
“I like to make fun of him from time to time because I do get the princess treatment, and he takes such good care of me,” she shared.
“I come home from a long day, and he’ll rub my back and give me so much love. He takes such good care of me. I couldn’t have asked for any better right now.”
With love and mutual admiration at the center of their relationship, Johnny and Josie continue to celebrate life together while keeping their bond strong and supportive.
