BTS sensation Jung Kook has achieved a significant milestone on the Official Chart in the UK, becoming the first Korean solo artist to secure two Top 5 singles.
Jeon Jung kook, renowned as BTS’ main vocalist alongside bandmates Jin, SUGA, j-hope, RM, Jimin, and V, has solidified his position with his latest track “3D,” a collaboration with Jack Harlow, entering the Official Singles Chart at Number 5.
This accomplishment follows the success of Jung Kook’s debut solo single, a collaboration with Latto titled “Seven,” which entered the chart at Number 3 earlier this year, marking a historic achievement at the time.
Both “3D” and “Seven” are tracks from Jung Kook’s highly anticipated first solo album, “GOLDEN,” scheduled for release on November 3. With this new achievement, Jung Kook becomes the first Korean soloist to secure two Top 5 songs on the Official Singles Chart, surpassing the successes of fellow BTS members j-hope (born Jung Ho-seok) and Jimin (Park Ji-min) in their solo endeavors.

J-hope previously made history by reaching the Top 40 with his collaboration with J. Cole on “street” in March 2023, securing the first-ever solo BTS Top 40 placement. Jimin has also achieved success with Top 40 tracks this year, including “Set Me Free – Pt 2” (30) and “Like Crazy” (8).
On the other hand, SUGA (born Min Yoon-gi) has found his most significant success on the Official Albums Chart, with his 2020 release “D-2” peaking inside the Top 10 under his Agust D alias, reaching Number 7.
As a group, BTS has garnered four Top 10 singles in the UK to date, including “Dynamite” (3) and “Life Goes On” (10) in 2020, as well as “Butter” (3) and their collaboration with Coldplay, “My Universe” (3) in 2021. The only other Korean soloist to achieve two Top 10 singles in the UK is PSY, renowned for his groundbreaking hit “Gangnam Style,” which secured the first-ever K-pop Number 1 single in 2012, followed by “Gentleman,” which reached Number 10 the following year.
