Cardi B’s forthcoming album would mark her first solo project since her highly successful 2018 release, “Invasion of Privacy.” The album not only produced two No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 singles, including the diamond-certified “Bodak Yellow” and “I Like It,” but also earned her the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album.
Despite collaborating with artists like Megan Thee Stallion on hits like “Bongos,” Cardi has reiterated her focus on her solo career.
In August, she promised fans that her next solo single was on the horizon, assuring them that she wouldn’t keep them waiting long after her recent singles.
