Four Glastonbury DJs from the group “3SEVEN6” are set to bring music to an unexpected venue—the 376 bus service that runs between Glastonbury and Bristol.
The group, consisting of Charlie Chamberlain, Harley Kingham, Hayden Salter, and Josh Herridge, named themselves after the iconic bus route, which holds a special place in their hearts as a symbol of freedom and connection to Bristol’s vibrant nightlife.
The DJs will perform live aboard the bus during Glastonbury’s illuminated carnival on November 16.
Charlie Chamberlain, who has the bus number “376” tattooed across his stomach, shared the group’s excitement, saying, “We’ve joked about DJing on the 376 for so long; we still can’t believe it’s happening.”
He added that some of their best nights began on the bus and praised the collaborative aspect of their performance, which allows the group to take turns DJing, mixing socializing with hosting the party.
PR Manager Christian Lockyer of First West of England noted the deeper message behind the event, emphasizing how the 376 bus provides a crucial link from rural Somerset to the cultural scene in Bristol.
“Their story shows the freedom that bus travel can offer, especially to those in more isolated areas,” Lockyer explained.
For the DJs, who see the 376 as more than just a mode of transport, this onboard set will be a celebration of the bus route’s role in connecting people and supporting a thriving music scene.
