Janet Jackson has once again cancelled her much-anticipated concert at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro, marking the second time the singer has pulled the plug on the show.
Originally scheduled for 30 September, the concert was rescheduled to 13 October, but fans have now been notified that this date has also been scrapped, with no confirmation of a future performance.
The Glasgow gig was part of Jackson’s Together Again tour, which marks her return to UK stages for the first time since her iconic performance at Glastonbury in 2019.
The news has left many fans frustrated, especially as it marks the third time Jackson has cancelled a Glasgow show.
Disappointed fans took to social media to express their frustrations.
One user on X wrote, “Janet Jackson cancelling her Glasgow show just weeks after postponing it.
Third time in a row she’s cancelled a show in Glasgow. I’m done.”
Another fan added, “Very disappointed to see that’s the concert in Glasgow cancelled. This is the second time this has happened… Feeling very let down.”
The OVO Hydro has yet to issue a comment on the situation, and it remains unclear whether the concert will be rescheduled again.
Fans who had eagerly bought tickets within minutes of the sale are left wondering if they’ll ever see the pop icon perform in Glasgow.
